“Flustix RECYCLABLE – DIN plus”:
Flustix has set itself the task of implementing plastics sustainability quickly and in a target-oriented manner, because this is indispensable in order to achieve climate targets. To this end, the sustainability initiative, together with its established certification partner DIN CERTCO (TÜV Rheinland), is now offering the “Flustix RECYCLABLE – DIN plus” trustmark for goods and packaging made from recyclable materials – simple, reliable and free of system-dependent suppliers.
Since the Packaging Act came into force at the beginning of 2019, distributors of packaging have been responsible for ensuring that their products and packaging can be taken back and recycled. The aim of the law is to finally create clean and effective cycles.
With the “Flustix RECYCLABLE – DIN plus” trustmark, Flustix – Rethink Plastics, in cooperation with DIN CERTCO, identifies the recyclability of products and packaging within the framework of the Packaging Act and thus promotes transparent as well as truly sustainable cycles of raw materials. The basis of the verification is a laboratory analysis in which the recyclability of the materials used in the product or packaging is proven. Manufacturers of recyclable products and/or packaging can apply for the “Flustix RECYCLABLE – DIN plus” trustmark in an uncomplicated way and additionally benefit from financial as well as communicative advantages.
