Berlin, April 29, 2025 : The new restaurant W66 has opened in the heart of Berlin, directly in the Museum of Communication, and is delighting visitors from near and far with contemporary dishes, home-baked bread and sweet treats. Elegant, trendy and delicious, the new place to be for good food and extraordinary events in Berlin.
W66 by Wild & Wiese
With W66, managing director Christian Wilke is fulfilling his dream of opening his own restaurant. Christian Wilke is known from the Berlin-based catering company Wild & Wiese, which has established itself as an integral part of the Berlin food scene with ten years of experience. Thanks to his many years of experience in the catering industry, the next step was obvious - his first own restaurant, which also functions as an event location. The atrium of the museum can also be used exclusively by Wild & Wiese as a caterer for an event.
W66, located in the Museum for Communication, the site of the former W66 post office, combines history and modern indulgence to combine tradition with a view to the future. In addition to museum guests and families, W66 is a meeting place for anyone who appreciates high-quality food in a different location. The restaurant impresses with its simplicity and stands for openness and quality - a place where everyone feels welcome.
Delicacies and varieties for everyone
At W66, the most diverse flavors come together in healthy creations and combine on the plate to create a very special food experience. From starters to various main courses, small snacks, sweet temptations and drinks, there is something for every lover of good food. For business appointments or simply a relaxed lunch break, a specially created business lunch invites you to enjoy conversations in a varied environment.
A glance at the spring menu reveals a varied offer: a starter consisting of beetroot salad and small surprises or a cream of asparagus soup with sourdough bread. For the small appetite in between, there are various sandwiches, each of which knows how to convince. The sandwiches are homemade and come with a variety of toppings. Vegan sandwiches are also on the menu. Various sweet snacks such as croissants and homemade cakes or savory snacks such as homemade pickles complete the selection.
There are also main courses for those with a big appetite. The menu includes vegetarian wild garlic ravioli, vegan turnips from the charcoal grill and the classic boiled beef. In this restaurant, tastes come together that are not expected and yet are harmonious.
Coffee specialties with beans from Coffee Circle, various teas, soft drinks and a well-thought-out selection of Juwel wines round off the gastronomic offer.
