CheWOW: Brand relaunch and media positioning of the new products

This year, the young Bremen start-up CheWOW started the sustainable and meatless food revolution: Innovative raw materials form the basis for delicious and varied products – crispy nugg*ts, spicy gyr*s and burg*r in different variations. For the national launch of the products and the relaunch of the CheWOW brand, we first developed an attention-grabbing brand strategy. We communicated the renaming of the brand with press releases to the trade and food media. Due to the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, we then had to demonstrate great flexibility and adapt our strategy according to current developments. In individual media work we were able to successfully announce the new CheWOW products and send the products to journalists for testing in their home offices before market entry. Furthermore, we presented the mission and vision of the two founders in business media and launched interviews with various local and national media. Numerous publications in lifestyle and food media followed.

lycka: launch of summer products

“Doing good has never been so tasty” – the Hamburg start-up lycka sweetened the summer with four new, vegan ice cream flavors. Among them is the Raspberry Chocolate Split Ice Cream, which was created by Stefanie Giesinger. The profit of the ice cream went to 100 percent to projects of the “Welthungerhilfe” (world hunger help) in Malawi. BISS PR took over the press work for the project and placed lyckas social engagement in the centre of the communication. BISS PR created and sent press releases to food and lifestyle media as well as media outlets concerned with sustainability, which led to extensive coverage. BISS PR also sent the different types of ice cream to interested editors who were enthusiastic about the products.

Juzzz: Media positioning of the summer drink

Natural, vegan and sustainable – these values are becoming increasingly important in the food and beverage sector. The demand is growing – and the next generation of the traditional Türk winery has developed just the right product for 2020: JUZZZ, the soft drink without alcohol that is sparklingly fresh and above all innovative. BISS PR strategically planned and accompanied the product launch of JUZZZ and positioned JUZZZ as a summer drink with zero alcohol. BISS PR has activated its wide food and beverage network for this with press releases and individual stories. Particular attention was paid to the uniqueness of JUZZZ: non-alcoholic from a winemaker with regional ingredients. Accompanying the press releases, samples were sent to influencers and media representatives who generated consistently positive feedback and led to national reporting in the special interest and lifestyle media.
