Hotel opening under new brand:
In a direct waterfront location, the new Aedenlife Hotel & Resort Rügen, which the Berlin HR Group is taking over under a newly founded brand, will open in May 2021 after extensive conversion and renovation work. The luxurious hotel in the northwest of Rügen with a view of the island of Hiddensee has 40 modern rooms in various categories as well as 53 spacious flats with a terrace or balcony. The exclusive hotel also includes a restaurant with a view of the Bodden and an adjoining bar, a rustic pub with an old-fashioned flair, the all-day shop and the spacious spa landscape with a bathhouse and sauna area. For the HR Group, it is the first property under the newly founded brand Aedenlife.

“The island of Rügen combines a variety of sporting activities, recreational opportunities and special nature experiences and enjoys a high level of popularity throughout the year. Here in the north-western part of the island, away from the busy tourist trails, it is the unspoilt nature and tranquillity that travellers appreciate. After extensive renovation works, we are very much looking forward to welcoming the first guests in a few weeks and giving them an unforgettable and relaxing stay – which many wish for after a turbulent last year,” says Marco Engbertz, General Manager of the new Aedenlife Hotel & Resort Rügen.

A stay between picturesque hiking trails and dunes:
The luxurious Aedenlife Hotel & Resort Rügen extends over 33,000 square metres and offers the ideal holiday home for nature lovers seeking relaxation as well as for sporty adventurers – both for a short trip and the long-awaited family holiday. The hotel offers 40 generously sized rooms of various categories as well as 53 high-quality flats with terrace or balcony and a view of the Bodden. In the completely renovated hotel rooms as well as in the newly created flats, the Nordic flair has been transferred into the design concept: light and warm colours, which can be found on the walls as well as in the interior, gently merge with high-quality and natural materials. Depending on the size of the accommodation unit, the flats have several bedrooms and bathrooms with shower and bathtub as well as a kitchenette and an adjoining living area.

Culinary delights meet wellness and fitness – in almost untouched nature
In addition, the complex includes a spa landscape of over 1,000 square metres with a spacious bathhouse, various saunas and a cosmetic area where guests are offered various treatments. A fitness room and a wide range of outdoor sports facilities are available to keep fit. But no culinary wishes should be left unfulfilled either. In addition to the “Lädchen & Cafe” in the lobby area, which offers drinks, snacks, eastern specialities and self-catering products all day, the hotel also has a modern bar with an adjoining restaurant. A wide variety of regional products are used there, reinterpreted in unusual creations and with an international influence. The kitchen team thus ensures a tasteful experience for all the senses. The focus is on individuality. Instead of a classic buffet, guests should always have the choice between a daily changing course menu and individual à la carte dishes. In addition, the hotel places great emphasis on regional and homemade cuisine with homemade jams, salts and oils as well as its own honey.
