Hamburg, July 2025: Constanze Döbber has headed the marketing team of the two sister hotels Hotel Hafen Hamburg and Empire Riverside Hotel since May of this year. In her new position, she is responsible for the marketing strategies and their implementation in the two renowned hotels.
With her many years of experience in hotel and brand marketing as well as in the area of content, Constanze Döbber brings in-depth know-how and fresh impulses. Her new main tasks include the development and implementation of creative marketing campaigns that will continue to successfully position the two strong brands - the traditional Hotel Hafen Hamburg and the iconic Empire Riverside Hotel - on the market. For Constanze Döbber, the focus is not only on strengthening the hotels as independent brands, but also on clearly differentiating the sister hotels - goals for which she is building on her extensive experience in the field of storytelling. Other plans include connecting the hotels more closely with their neighbors and strengthening their ties to Hamburg. In order to optimize processes, Constanze Döbber is striving for closer cooperation between the various departments and the extensive use of AI, among other things.
"Hotel marketing makes a decisive contribution to the success of a hotel. We are delighted to welcome Constanze Döbber, an expert in this field who understands the Hotel Hafen Hamburg and the Empire Riverside Hotel, their history and USP, and at the same time looks at the task with a fresh eye and plans ahead for the future," says Enrico Ungermann, General Manager Hotel Hafen Hamburg & Empire Riverside Hotel.
"Hamburg is my beloved adopted home - and I am proud to take over the marketing for the two hotels, which probably stand for the Hanseatic city like no other. Their authenticity and hospitality reflect values that I identify with - and in one of the most beautiful places in Hamburg: right on the harbor," says Constanze Döbber.
Originally from the fashion industry, Constanze Döbber was able to gain extensive experience in fashion editorial departments of well-known magazines and as an independent fashion stylist. She discovered her passion for the hotel industry in marketing at NOVUM Hospitality before most recently working as Senior Marketing Manager at RIMC Bunker Hamburg. In this role, she oversaw the pre-opening and opening of the Hamburg BUNKER, and was primarily responsible for the positioning of the new brands, press relations and cooperation management, in addition to other marketing activities. In her new role, the Osnabrück-born hotelier continues to put down roots in Hamburg and the hotel industry.
