With bite, but never biting, we tackle all kinds of challenges as a team. Like a crocodile lurking in the water, patience and attention are usually required here. There are many species in the large crocodile family. The BISS PR family has ten employees. That's small, but not too small. And above all, not too big. Because personal exchange is our concern. Transparent, authentic and honest. A team that achieves the greatest successes together. Internally and externally. Crocodiles grow throughout their lives. And so do we. Sometimes even beyond ourselves, because we are full of passion for our projects.
Founder and owner
I founded BISS PR 17 years ago with the idea of offering communication that is strategic, creative and above all effective. Not every brand needs the same concept, not every hotel the same story. I worked in advertising in Hamburg for a long time and know how important it is to position yourself with an idea that is unexpected and sticks in the mind for a long time. That is the only way brands grow and stand out. Right now, with AI, credibility has become even more important, and PR is anything but dead.
Through my journalism studies at LMU Munich and my work in newsrooms, I know what journalists want: a story that really is a story. Sometimes it is just one small part of a hotel or a restaurant that stands out, or a PR stunt that goes through the roof because it is so quirky. We were the first agency in Europe to set the forest bathing trend. The managing director of Seefeld Tourism thought I was crazy when I said: We are doing this, and we are doing it right now. That clearly sets us apart from other, more generic agencies.
It is also simply true that you cannot necessarily learn this creative feel for stories. You have to feel it and translate it. That takes time, and many clients, and agencies too, do not want to invest that time. But this is exactly the point that matters most.
Hotels and hotel chains are, of course, fertile ground for great stories. We have been experts here for more than 17 years, not least through my many years as press spokesperson for Leonardo Hotels, the cornerstone of the agency. Placing these stories successfully in the media is what we do, successfully and, above all, more personally than others: since 2009.
