Rheingau, February 2025: With the opening of the flow trails at the WALD.WEIT Rheingau Hotel & Retreat, a unique destination dedicated to relaxation and sporting passion is being created in the heart of the Rheingau. Nestled in the idyllic Hahnwald forest above the picturesque wine village of Kiedrich and surrounded by the vineyards of the Rheingau, guests can look forward to a special biking experience on the hotel's own flow trails. WALD.WEIT is now proud to present the mountain bike paradise it has created with an opening event on March 16, 2025.
For biking with the perfect flow
Practice course, Rhine Falls or Buchen Bounce: At the WALD.WEIT Rheingau Hotel & Retreat, mountain bikers and nature enthusiasts can now embark on completely new adventures. When the flow trails officially open on March 16, 2025, they will invite you to discover the freedom of the forest in an active way: The flow trails for mountain bikers, designed by nature project manager Kim Christian, provide a natural adventure with the right amount of action thanks to their varied routes and different levels of difficulty. Whether over roots, jumps and obstacles or through gentle waves and (steep) bends - all trails create a balance between adrenaline rush and nature experience. The flow trails offer a harmonious interplay of speed and technique that caters not only for experienced mountain bikers but also for beginners. Each section has been carefully planned to encourage the flow of riding. For the fantastic feeling of being "in the flow" when biking!
Practice course: safe terrain
Beginners will find ideal conditions for practising and training safely here. With drops, steep bends, tables and various wooden obstacles, this area is also aimed at mountain bikers who want to improve their technique and prepare for the upcoming trail fun in a protected environment.Forst Flow: perfect for beginners and advanced riders
The Forst Flow Trail (green category) starts directly from the hotel parking lot and invites you to enjoy a varied ride through open forest and meadow areas. Partly even visible from the hotel, it keeps both beginners and advanced riders on their toes with its steep bends, berms and wall rides. At the end, several small bridges await the bikers and lead them elegantly over the hotel's water catchment basins.Rinden Ride: pure flow and fun!
The route of the Rinden Ride (green category) winds through the forest with a multitude of berms and steep bends and invites beginners and advanced riders to enjoy the flow. In the middle of nature, mountain bikers experience the playful fun of curves that constantly present them with new surprises.Buchen Bounce: Unbridled riding fun
On the Buchen Bounce Trail (blue category), the focus is on fun: this perfectly coordinated trail with harmoniously designed bends and jumps winds its way through the forest and promises unbridled riding fun. If you ride it slowly, it is an enjoyable trail that takes the momentum out again with short counter-slopes. If you let it fly, you fly... but all the flying sections can also be rolled over. A trail for all those who love speed, nature and the feeling of flow!Task Forst: For enduro fans
The Task Forst Trail (red category) is a demanding route over roots and stones that presents enduro enthusiasts with special challenges. Task Forst has the charm of an "illegal" route: few excavators, lots of manual work and many roots. Here, riders can put their technical skills to the test and face the untamed nature of the forest.Rhine Falls: For real pros
For the experts (and really ONLY for the experts), the Rheinfall Trail (black category) offers the most demanding challenge: The steep slopes, complex northshores and jumps demand precision and technical riding skills. A route that challenges the best mountain bikers.
