Imst/Tyrol, May 2025: The Raft Battle on May 3, 2025 once again marked the start of an exciting summer season in the outdoor region of Imst. With 14 teams, Imst once again celebrated the wet and cheerful competition full of team spirit, action and adrenaline - the ideal start to an eventful summer in the Imst outdoor region.
Summer adventures in the outdoor region
High up on the peaks, through narrow gorges and along rushing rivers - a region that combines contrasts: majestic and approachable, sublime and yet accessible to all. Out of the city, through the Rosengarten Gorge, into the tranquillity of the mountains. Caving far into the mountain and exploring old shafts and caves. Hiking, rafting, climbing, mountain biking or letting off steam in the AREA 47 high ropes course - the outdoor region of Imst is ready for an unforgettable season. In addition to classics such as the Rosengarten Gorge or the Alpine Coaster - the longest Alpine roller coaster in the world - Imst also offers highlights such as canyoning, bungee jumping from the 94-metre-high Benni Raich Bridge or paragliding over the Inn Valley. Not only adrenaline junkies get their money's worth - families, those seeking peace and quiet and pleasure hikers can also experience nature in all its diversity. With the Imster Cycle Marathon and the Tschirgant Sky Run, the Raft Battle is followed by further sporting events that attract outdoor fans from near and far.
