The day starts with breakfast in your pyjamas, as the breakfast basket is delivered directly to the chalet and offers a relaxed and peaceful day at your own pace. The end of the evening? Whether privately in the chalet, casually in the STUBEN or a chic evening in the Genusswerk restaurant, no wish remains unfulfilled here. The Allgäu cheese fondue made from spicy mountain cheese and caquelon, seasoned with white wine and cherrymand many classic foods to dip into, is a must for a very special Allgäu experience. All in all, a unique variety combined with a unique delivery service concept.

As soon as the first rays of sunshine awaken the chalet village of Alpzitt from its night's rest, the breakfast baskets are filled with a variety of local products. Many of the products served come from regional partners, some of whom are located right next door. The selection of different egg dishes, ham and sausage, bread and pastries, fresh fruit and vegetables, Bircher muesli, coffee and much more leaves nothing to be desired. Local restaurant STUBEN
The "STUBEN" village pub is just a few minutes' walk away, just like the chalet village of Alpzitt itself in the heart of Burgberg in the Allgäu. As the central meeting point of Burgberg, locals and guests of the Alpzitt come together here to celebrate enjoyment, passion and community. Hosts Sonja and Albert Gilb invite you to enjoy a combination of regional and modern specialties with a local flair. The regional culinary concept runs throughout, but here with a rustic, modern interpretation. Classics such as roast beef or Kaiserschmarrn meet burgers or colorful bowls. The focus here is on community, which is why the restaurant regularly invites guests to events with culinary accompaniment, as well as to linger and enjoy a relaxed chat.
The Genusswerk with chef Alex Schareina
When creativity, ambition and fun come together, it is clear that chef Alex Schareina is at the stove in the "Genusswerk" in the chalet village of Alpzitt. For over five years now, he has been combining traditional Allgäu cuisine with modern cooking aspects and invites guests to experience regional delicacies and specialties day after day, as à la carte dinners, multi-course menus or fine dining for the stomach and head. "Food is home and this is a feeling that I want to convey in every one of my dishes. I want to make people happy with my creations and dishes and, above all, communicate transparently where we source our food from and thus guarantee enjoyment with a clear conscience for our guests," says Alex Schareina about his own kitchen philosophy. A special highlight in the restaurant is the "Chef's Choice" menu. Here there are three to five courses with changing delicacies, such as rack of lamb with bell pepper ravioli, white espresso ice cream or "beef tongue tonnato style", put together according to the chef's wishes and recommendations.

After a long day in the Allgäu countryside filled with activities in and around your own chalet, you have the option of enjoying the menus from the Genusswerk in your own chalet or vacation apartment. The multi-course menus or à la carte orders can be enjoyed together in front of the fireplace and all guests can relax in private while talking about their Alpzitt experiences. Even in the chalet, you don't have to do without drink and wine recommendations from the specialist staff - these are provided at the same time.
