4th German Kniffel® Championship in Berlin on June 6, 2026: Winners, Records, and a Look Back

Berlin, June 9, 2026. On Saturday, June 6, 2026, it was that time again: Around 160 participants eagerly competed for the title in Berlin. After four exciting preliminary rounds and a final round, the winner was decided: Lennart F. (25), a resident of Jena, is this year’s German^Kniffel® Champion. He was followed by Katharina L. (77) in second place and Nico R. (28) in third. Even though all the players had their eyes firmly set on the trophies, the event was marked by a lively atmosphere, the joy of playing, and sportsmanship. Everyone celebrated together, and especially when a^Kniffel® was rolled, the opponents joined in the cheers. The cheers of joy were heard particularly often this year: With a total of 251^{Kniffel® rolls} in the preliminary rounds—that is, when all five dice show the same number—and three in the final round, the record from 2025 was far surpassed.

This regular event is part of Schmidt Spiele’s philosophy of bringing people together through shared play while bringing popular classics and strong brands to life. For the fourth time, the Berlin-based publisher, together with ABC Zentrum Berlin e.V., hosted the German^Kniffel® Championship. The event took place at the aletto Hotel Potsdamer Platz, with which Schmidt Spiele has a long-standing partnership. On November 14, 2026, the World Championship in^Ludo® will take place there, and on December 12 and 13, 2026, the Schmidt Puzzle Masters, a speed puzzle competition, will be held.
