Berlin, March 2024: Powerfully colorful visual worlds with background music in front of historic walls - this is the new, immersive show "Genesis II" by EONARIUM, which can be experienced in Kreuzberg from April 11, 2024. After last year's great success, the Swiss artist collective Projektil is bringing the second part of the creation story to Berlin and translating the well-known narrative into a unique 3D light show.
While the first part interpreted the beginnings of the world, Genesis II continues the journey through the story of creation. Visitors experience the creation of the sun, moon and stars and are taken on a journey to the beginnings of animals in the air, in the water and on land. The show requires no prior knowledge and is aimed at anyone who wants to immerse themselves in a story and dream with their eyes wide open.
"Genesis II offers not just a show, but an experience that blurs the boundaries between art and technology," says Roman Beranek, Creative Director at Projektil. "It's a tribute to creation that creates a profound emotional resonance through innovative techniques and artistic presentation." To this end, a large number of high-performance projectors envelop the inner structures, shapes and walls of the event church in Kreuzberg in colorful visual worlds.
Another highlight of the performance is the creation of mankind, embedded in a scenery of colors and movements that impressively captures the beauty and diversity of life. "During the creative process, it was important to us to make it possible to experience the story of origins regardless of denomination. This allows all viewers to develop their own relationship and associations with the images," explains project manager Dembah Fofanah.
