Berlin, November 2025 - get your puzzles ready and go! On the weekend of November 22 and 23, everything in Berlin will revolve around puzzles. Schmidt Spiele, one of the most traditional game and puzzle publishers in Germany, is hosting the first big "Schmidt Spiele Puzzle Masters 2025". In three categories, puzzlers will be competing to create the predetermined motif piece by piece. Whether speed puzzling in the individual competition, puzzle duel or puzzling in a team - the award ceremonies will show who the Puzzle Masters 2025 are. The venue is the aletto Hotel Potsdamer Platz, where Schmidt Spiele organized last year's world championship in "Mensch ärgere Dich nicht®" games. Numerous members of the newly founded Puzzleverein Deutschland e.V. have also registered for the event, which is already fully booked. Schmidt Spiele has been a cooperation partner of the puzzle enthusiasts since this summer and supports the association's puzzle competitions throughout Germany.

The puzzle sector is of great importance to Schmidt Spiele and has been expanded for years - from children's puzzles to licensed puzzles and adult puzzles. The latest development in the segment was presented at the beginning of 2025 with a world first: Puzzles based on grass board. This resource-saving and sustainable innovation was developed especially for Schmidt Spiele and is marketed under the NATPAX® brand. A unique combination of organically grown grass and recycled waste paper creates puzzle board that meets the highest standards in terms of both the environment and high quality. All participants will only find out whether the puzzles based on grass cardboard will also be placed at the "Schmidt Spiele Puzzle Masters 2025" on site, as the puzzle selection is of course top secret.
