At an altitude of 1,700 metres in Lech am Arlberg, the family-run Hotel Goldener Berg has been combining alpine lifestyle with its very own idea of selfcare since 1965. In winter, guests ski straight from the hotel onto the slopes of the Lech Zürs ski area. In summer, walking paths and hiking trails lead through the surrounding mountains. After an active day in the mountains, the 800 square metre Alpin Spa with indoor pool and infinity outdoor pool offers space to relax. The cuisine is largely plant-based and follows the rhythms of nature. The Johannesstübli has been awarded three toques by Gault&Millau for it. The 37 individually designed rooms and suites are relaxed retreats, and dogs are warmly welcome too. Sustainability is part of the hotel concept: the Goldener Berg holds the Austrian Ecolabel and the EU Ecolabel.
