Launch of the summer products from lycka
"Doing good has never been so delicious" - the Hamburg start-up lycka is sweetening everyone's summer with four new vegan ice cream flavors. Together with Stefanie Giesinger, lycka has created a particularly creamy and fruity treat: raspberry chocolate split ice cream. It is also the first win-win ice cream where 100% of the profits go to Welthungerhilfe projects in Malawi. This is not only a reason to eat more ice cream this summer, but also an occasion that we are of course using in the media. The aim was to make this summer's motto "Eat ice cream and do good".
We focused our communication on lycka's social commitment, which has been cooperating with Welthungerhilfe since its foundation. We sent out press releases to food and lifestyle media and media in the field of sustainability. We also sent various ice cream flavors to the editorial offices for tasting.
The news about the first Win Win ice cream and the variety of flavors convinced not only food editors, but also lifestyle media. The sample campaign was so well received by journalists and bloggers that we are already making plans to send out ice cream next year.
