Berlin, November 2025 : Eggs Benedict Smørrebrød, Nordic Shakshuka and Hygge Breakfast Bowl - at brunch at W66, the freshness of the North is brought directly to the breakfast table. It is served in the form of tried and tested classics, which are given a new lease of life inspired by Scandinavian cuisine. In the "Nordic Shakshuka", for example, the familiar dish is transformed into a dream with spinach, wild herbs and leek, while the "Hygge Breakfast Bowl" rethinks classic porridge. In the restaurant in Berlin-Mitte, innovative cuisine merges with a relaxed atmosphere. From this month, brunch will be served there every weekend in addition to the regular menu. The curated menu includes seven modern creations that put a new spin on the all-day breakfast with a clear focus and attention to detail - always on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm.
Brunch menu with Nordic sophistication
The new brunch menu at W66 refines breakfast classics with Scandinavian flair, including vegan options. The classic Eggs Benedict are transformed into a Nordic delicacy in which the poached eggs are served on rye bread with salmon trout, caper apples, seaweed caviar and a dill hollandaise. In the winter months, the "Hygge Breakfast Bowl", a comforting baked apple ragout porridge with cinnamon and birch syrup, is the perfect way to enjoy a cozy breakfast. For bread in the morning, sourdough is cleverly combined with smoked carrot, chervil and seaweed caviar or sweet as "Nordic Toast" with brioche, quince compote, maple syrup and white chocolate.
With the attractive selection of aperitifs, every brunch at W66 can become a "boozy brunch". In addition to the classic Mimosa and Aperol, the trendy Chandon Garden Spritz is also on offer, while those who prefer a classic drink can order Crémant from Bouvet.
Lean back in the Scandi-chic interior
The ambience of the W66 shines in its Scandinavian modesty with restrained color tones and uncomplicated design elements. The deliberate connection between modernity and history is palpable - baroque stucco elements adorn the ceiling, which clearly combines tradition and the present with an industrial steel construction. Behind the interior is Llot Llov, a Berlin design duo who have transformed the restaurant in the former post office into a relaxed setting for an enjoyable brunch.
